De La Soul had launched a kickstarter campaign in March in order to help fund their upcoming album and have reached $600,875. The rap group have officially raised the 2nd highest amount on kickstarter for a musical project. De La Soul quickly reached $110,000 for the new project and when the funding period had ended yesterday 5/2/15 they had a total of $600,875 with a total of 11,000 supporters for their kickstarter campaign.This will be the groups 1st album in over a decade.
