A jeweler from the Los Angeles area is saying that people
associated with 50 cent had assaulted him and robbed him of jewelry this past
weekend. TMZ reports that the owner of LAX Jewelry Co (Robert Marin) had
traveled to Las Vegas the weekend of the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight for a
meeting with 50 cent to sell him a watch and chain valued at $250,000.
Marin and 50 met at Drai’s nightclub where the two discussed pricing on the
jewelry. After wards Martin was invited to Mayweather’s gym which he accepted and
that’s where things got ugly. Marin says he was pistol whipped and robbed for
the jewelry by two men who were associates of 50 who then fled the scene.
A robbery report has been filed with the Las Vegas Police
Department and the incident is currently under investigation. 50’s lawyer Scott
Lemon was spoken to and released a statement saying “On behalf of 50 cent, I
can adamantly deny that he or his security had anything to do with these
baseless and false allegations”
